I've been working on a quilt commission and really thought I would be done by now and back to painting. Since I am not, here's another past painting. I hope to be back at my easel soon!

One Dollar Wednesday

It's Wednesday again and time for another 1 $ deal. On Wednesdays I find one of my older paintings and list it on eBay at a starting bid of $1. This week I have "Cat Eye" available. It was originally painted on March 4, 2011.

Today I painted the cat eye sunglasses with acrylics. The painting on the left is in acrylics and the one on the right is oil paints. Which do you like better?

I had a lot of fun painting this today. There's still a little work to be done on it. I have to wait for the paint to dry a little before I really add the highlights. I think tomorrow I'll paint it again using acrylics.
