If not, this is what you’re missing out on! They did this last year as well and I didn’t claim my pair, but this year I made sure to get mine. I thought it would be especially fun to paint.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Mine went like this Christmas Eve at in-laws; Christmas Day at home and son came down with a bad cold; Funeral on New Year’s Eve day; I came down with a cold on New Years day; had Christmas with my family on the 2nd; attended a wedding; and had a raging ear ache on the 4th! Ouch!

Needless to say, it wasn’t the holiday break we had planned.

I decided it was time to do a bit of blog cleaning. All my paintings and musing from 2009 - 2013 can now be found here.

I just wanted to thank you all for your support during my end of the year sales events!! It sounds like many customers are happy about the deals they found on ebay and etsy! I'm so glad you chose one of my paintings to give as a gift (or keep for yourself). I really don't make any money offering paintings at $1. My humble little dollar sale gets eaten up with fees from ebay/etsy and paypal, but I enjoy it and it's better than having the paintings sitting around my home...although it's sometimes hard to see them go.

I have had one of my best years yet in painting sales. What I find most exciting about it is seeing my paintings go out into the world...one went as far as Australia this year! Yeah!

2014 is just around the corner and I'm revamping the blog to reflect the changes that are happening in the studio.

I am working on things behind the scenes at the moment. I've been doing a lot of drawing and observing and I hope you'll enjoy what I have to offer next year!

Black Friday on Ebay went really well. At least half of my paintings sold (yeah!)...many of them sold for 1 $ (yeah for you!). So, I decided to list the remaining paintings and a few more I found lurking around the house. These make really great gift for friends, family, work, stocking stuffers, etc. and they are all original art. You can't beat that!

This will be my last $1 sale on Ebay for the year.

In 2014 I am moving out of the "hobby" stage of painting and into the "professional" stage of painting. I won't be offering my paintings at rock bottom prices any more. I have been doing this for going on 5 years and I think it's time for me to start offering them at the normal asking price.

First Thanksgiving down...2 more to go!

I feel very grateful that we still get together with my Dad's side and celebrate Thanksgiving. It's always fun to see my aunts and uncles, cousins, and second-cousins!

At this time of year I like to list many of my older paintings on ebay in hopes that they will find a new home over the holidays. The painting above is one of the many paintings that start at a 1 $ bid on ebay. These make unusual stocking stuffers or possibly gifts for friends and family.
