Found

No. 283, 6" x 6", acrylic on gessoboard
Available in my Etsy shop.

We were doing a little spring cleaning this weekend and I found this bowl in the basement. I totally forgot we had it. It had only been missing for 10 years! I need to do some more searching in the basement…who knows what I’ll find! :)

Room For One

6"x6", oil on gessoboard
Available in my Etsy shop.

There was room for only one orange in the bowl. The others will just have to wait their turn.

I really want to go to a painting workshop this year, but I can't decide which one I want to go to!

I always love the organic shape of heirlooom tomatoes. They are almost kind-of disgusting looking, but cute!

Love Letter

4"x4", oil on gessoboard
Available on ebay.

Some days my still life painting just doesn't work out. So, instead of wiping it, I thought I would just make an abstract out of it. Last week I was painting a love letter in a bottle and it was not working for me. I was loving the colors, so I started making the objects into shapes and this is what I came up with.

Putting Out Fires

6"x6", acrylic on gessoboard
Available in my Etsy shop.

My son was on spring break last week, so this was the first painting I had time for in quite a few days. It seemed like with every new stroke I made I had to fix something else. Putting out one fire after another. I feel like it's maybe overworked, but I do like the colors! That made me happy.

This little bottle of nail polish wants to be a bottle of perfume. It's a little bottle of Revlon's Parfumerie nail polish. Yes, it is scented!
