“Reflections”

Originally painted on March 14, 2011.
I painted this for the Daily Paintworks Color of White Challenge. The challenge was to place a mostly white object on a piece of print fabric and observe what happens to the white object AND you could only use primary and secondary colors. Pop on over and see what others have come up with.

Hi Heather what a great exercise. I love what you've done. Isn't it interesting how when you really look at something you realise there is much more too it,like the 'white' cup for instance. It's not really white at all with all the shadows and colourful things it picks up around it. I really love the tones you have used on the cup well done :0) I should do an exercise like this I think it's a really great way of getting you to look at an object differently :0)
